About Fanlistings: A Brief Introduction

Fanlistings are meant to be places where all the fans of a certain person, thing, movie, song, tv show, etc. can unite and show their love for the subject in question. The original fanlistings network was the brainchild of Janine, who wanted to find out how many fans there were scattered around the world of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. If you visit TFL.org now, you'll see that there are about 30,000 listings, so Janine's idea obviously caught on with the obsessive, web-savvy public. :)

About This Site: A Brief History

I opened this collective when I got my fourth fanlisting (I'm not too sure of the exact date, but I would say probably mid-June 2004) as a way to keep them all organized. This site had various other names before I decided to buy this domain, the name of which comes from a line in U2's song "Stuck in a Moment" ("I am still enchanted by the light you brought to me"). I'm a fan of that line and I thought, you know, that would make a good domain name. I purchased this domain in November 2004 and moved my fanlistings here shortly thereafter. I enjoy making and running fanlistings, so I imagine this part of my online empire will continue to exist for a good long while.

About the Webmistress: A Very Brief Biography

My name is Meaghan. I'm Canadian. You can kinda tell the sorts of things I enjoy from browsing the current page, but I'll tell you here anyway. My biggest obsessions include but are not limited to: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly, and all other things Joss Whedon; Spider-Man and the Marvel Universe of comics in general; Harry Potter (books much more than movies); Tobey Maguire and all his movies, especially the Spidey films; musicians including U2, Tori Amos, Radiohead, The Verve, and The White Stripes; hockey (Go Sens Go!); and lots of television shows, including Battlestar Galactica, Dexter, Lost, Six Feet Under, Arrested Development, House, Survivor, Farscape, The X-Files, Gossip Girl, Big Love, One Tree Hill, and The O.C.
